To effectively accomplish the mission of our ministries, we need to operate as a team. Unfortunately, teams don’t magically form. We have to be deliberate in how we put together the team, carefully looking at strengths and weaknesses to balance the team and the work. Because there is so much to do and, most of the time, very few people to do it, we tend to form teams without taking into consideration personalities, skills sets, etc. This often results in unproductive challenges and conflict.
